About J.M. (Janne) Papma PhD
Introduction
Dementia is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that has great impact into the daily lives of people with dementia and their caregivers.
My research focuses on improving dementia diagnostics and postdiagnostic care by attending to specific needs and characteristics of individuals. I improve person centered care, by accounting for to the fact that every person is different. I focus for example on improving the care for young onset dementia patients, culture sensitive care, and early recognition and person centered interventions for neuropsychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer's disease.
