Patient Service Center

The Patient Service Center is here for all your practical and non-medical questions. Our staff will answer your questions, help you find reliable information, or refer you to the right person. Also feel free to walk in if you are interested in discussing something personal.

Using digital healthcare

We can help you with any questions you may have about digital healthcare, such as how to log into the My Erasmus MC patient portal, how to apply for a DigiD, or how to take part in a video consultation with your care provider.

Completing a health questionnaire

Our care providers increasingly ask our patients to prepare for their appointment by completing a health questionnaire. If you have you received an invitation to complete a questionnaire and have questions about how to do this, please feel free to contact us. At the Patient Service Center, you can even complete the questionnaire with one of our staff members.

Financial Assistance Team

Do you have concerns about money? At Erasmus MC, you can receive help. Financial problems can affect your health and make it difficult to access care, for example, if you cannot afford travel costs to the hospital or the costs of medication. That's why a staff member from the Financial Assistance Team offers free advice and support to residents of Rotterdam at the Patient Service Center.

You can visit without an appointment on Mondays between 09:30 hrs and 13:30 hrs. You can also make an appointment online. The staff member from the Financial Assistance Team is available by phone on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs at 06 387 211 86.

The staff member from the Financial Assistance Team can help you with:

  • Creating a plan for your income and expenses.
  • Checking if you are eligible for benefits, funds, or other arrangements.
  • Contacting to set up a payment plan.

You can also use the Patient Service Center to:

  • Print and scan documents
  • Get information about filing a complaint, our hospital services, or accessing your medical records or getting a copy of your records
  • Report damaged or lost personal possessions
  • Praise our services or give us suggestions for improvement

Contact your attending physician for any medical questions related to your records. If you have a question or remark about your appointment, then you should call the relevant outpatient clinic.

The Patient Service Center is located near the Reception Desk at the main entrance.
