Rooming-in facilities
Our single patient rooms have ‘rooming-in’ facilities where someone can either sit or sleep. It is possible for a visitor to spend the night in a patient’s room, provided that the physician agrees with this.
The Ronald McDonald House at the Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital
The Ronald McDonald House is a place where the parents, brothers and sisters of children being treated at the Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital can stay.

The Daniel den Hoed Family House
The Daniel den Hoed Family House is a guest house for family members of oncology patients who are being treated at Erasmus MC. They stay in a homely environment within walking distance of the hospital to support their sick relatives. Outpatient oncology patients are also welcome in the Family House. As of May 5, 2021, the Family House is located in the Little C district across from Erasmus MC.
