Collaborations

We cherish our collaboration partners and foster synergy within our network.

Convergence

TU Delft, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Erasmus MC have joined forces in Convergence. The urgent and complex societal challenges of our time ask for fundamentally new forms of cooperation, moving beyond the boundaries between institutes and disciplines to create new perspectives and solutions. In research and education, Convergence is committed to combine strengths, knowledge and methods to address societal challenges such as climate change, sustainability, pressure on the healthcare system, urbanization and digitalization.

Within the context of Convergence, TTO keeps close ties to its knowledge transfer colleagues from the TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam. The TTO focuses especially on the theme of Health & Technology. We encourage cross-institutional collaboration and valorization to create an impact on the greatest societal challenges.

Create4Care

Create4Care is Erasmus MC's hands-on innovation hub. Healthcare staff and patients and their loved ones are welcomed to share practical points of improvement. When the Create4Care team thinks it can solve the problem, they get to work together with the initiators. The Create4Care experts work both in the department in question and in their vibrant innovation lab. And they often do so in collaboration with students from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences or Technical University Delft.

The Create4Care team often invents practical innovations that they believe can make an impact outside Erasmus MC. Whenever that happens, TTO partners up with Create4Care to guide their inventions and designs through the valorization process so they can improve the work of healthcare staff and the lives of patients.
