About J.J. (Jaap) Tolk, MD PhD
Introduction
I have been trained as orthopaedic surgeon in Maxima MC, MUMC+ and VieCuri. After completion of orthopaedic residency in 2019, I have had the opportunity to engage in pediatric orthopaedic fellowships in the Netherlands (Maxima MC) and the United Kingdom (the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore). In 2020 I successfully defended my PhD thesis ‘expectations and outcome in knee and hip arthroplasty’ at Erasmus MC. In the summer of 2021 I am working as consultant pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Erasmus MC – Sophia Children’s Hospital.
