About our project
An anterior cruciate ligament rupture is a very common injury in the sports active population. The ligament is important for the stability in the knee joint. There roughly are two possible treatments:
- Physical therapy
- Reconstruction
It is sometimes hard in daily practice to choose the best treatment for an individual patient. Because of this, there is a lot of cross-over between the two possible treatment strategies. This causes a delay for the right treatment to start.
In the ROTATE-trial we are researching how to come to the most optimal treatment strategy for the individual patient.Funds & Grants
