About
Logging-in with DigiD
You can log-in to My Erasmus MC either with your personal DigiD code (with SMS text message authentication) or by using the DigiD app. DigiD is a means of authenticating your digital identity, so that we know for sure that you are the one logging-in to the website. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 12, you are entitled to view their medical records. You should use the child’s DigiD code for this purpose. For further details about the use of DigiD, see the page entitled ‘How does DigiD work?’.
Logging-in on your computer, laptop or smartphone
You can log-in on your computer, laptop of smartphone. If you have difficulty getting into My Erasmus MC, this may be because of a problem with your operating system or web browser. We advise you to use Google Chrome as your browser. See ‘Problems’ below.
Automatic log-off
You are automatically logged-off if you are logged-in to My Erasmus MC but do not actively use it for more than 15 minutes. This is a security procedure based on legal requirements about the protection of your medical records. So if you forget to log-off yourself, the system will automatically log you off after a 15-minute period of inactivity.
Protecting your privacy
We do our utmost to protect the confidentiality of your medical records on My Erasmus MC and would ask you to do the same. So please do not forget to log-off when you’ve finished viewing your personal page. Click on the ‘log-off’ icon in the top right-hand corner.
