Erasmus MC Sophia has lifted many of the covid measures as of April 14 2022. It is no longer mandatory to wear a mouth mask in public areas. In the consulting room, care staff will wear an II-R mask if they are within 1.5 meters of the patient.

Erasmus MC Sophia has lifted many of the covid measures. It is no longer mandatory to wear a mouth mask in public areas, except if you have covid symptoms. In the consulting room, care staff will wear an II-R mask if they are within 1.5 meters of the patient. Patients who feel the need will be offered an II-R mask at the reception or outpatient desk.

Visit
If you would like to visit a patient, please wear an II-R nasal mask when coming within 1.5 meters of the admitted patient (masks are offered at ward entrance in the lounge).
Flu-Like symptoms
Are you or your child experiencing flu-like symptoms or symptoms that may indicate you might have a coronavirus infection? Or have you recently visited a region that has an orange travel advisory colour code? Please contact the front desk of the outpatient clinic as soon as possible.Safety measures in our hospital
- Do not shake hands.
- Regularly wash your hands with soap and warm water.
- Try to touch your face as little as possible.
- Cough and sneeze into your elbow.
- Use tissue paper.
- After your visit, take the shortest route to leave the hospital.
