About S.A.L. (Sietske) van Till
Introduction
Sietske completed a bachelor in medicine at the Erasmus Medical Center (2020). She did the minor ‘ethics in an innovative healthcare system’. After that she completed a scientifical internship at the department of Medical Ethics, Philosophy and History of Medicine, focusing on the concept of solidarity in discussions on funding of effective but expensive oncological treatments.
Her project focuses on the ethical aspects of using patient-own stem cell-derived neuronal cell models in research and clinical care of children with monogenetic neurodevelopmental disorders, which is part of the BRAINmodel-project.
