Education and career
Sebastiaan studied pharmaceutical sciences at Utrecht University and obtained his PharmD degree in 2010. He conducted clinical research at the psychiatry/neuroscience department of the University of California San Diego focusing on selective dopamine receptor involvement in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia.
He worked at NKFK for the development of the pediatric formulary (kinderformularium.nl). During his PhD at Erasmus MC and Amsterdam Medical Center he focused on pharmacokinetic research of chemotherapeutic agents and supportive care in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
