About R.M. (Rianne) Rozendaal, PhD
Introduction
Dr. Rianne Rozendaal is the coordinator of network of academic general practitioners, Primeur, of the Department of General Practice at Erasmus MC.
She studied Human Movement Sciences at the VU University in Amsterdam.
Dr. Rozendaal finished her PhD in 2009 at the Erasmus MC, her dissertation focused on the effect of a supplement, Glucosamine Sulfate, on patients with hip osteoarthritis.
During her time as a PhD student she completed a master of Science program in Clinical Epidemiology.
In 2011 she started her current job as the coordinator of the Primeur Network. The 13 GP practices that are involved in the network work closely together with the department in our research projects, vocational training of future GPs and internships of medical students.
Dr. Rozendaal is involved in different ongoing research projects and organizes meetings for the research assistants of the department. She is furthermore involved in implementing a trial bureau at the research department.
