About Dr. T. (Tim) Preijers
Introduction
Tim Preijers currently works at the Hospital Pharmacy in the Erasmus MC. As a Hospital-Pharmacy resident and researcher, he is focused on the interplay of clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and dose optimization.

Education and career
Tim Preijers started studying Pharmacy at the Utrecht University. Thereafter, he has worked as Teaching Assistant at the Leiden Academic Center for Drug Research (LACDR) at the department of Systems Biomedicine & Pharmacology. In February 2015 he started his PhD research at the Amsterdam UMC - location AMC under supervision of prof. dr. R.A.A. Mathôt, prof. dr. F.W.G. Leebeek and dr. M.H. Cnossen, focused on the dose optimization and personalization of clotting factors used in haemophilia patients. In 2019 he started his residency as a hospital pharmacist in the Erasmus MC and the Sint Franciscus Vlietland Groep in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Currently, while working as a resident in the Hospital-Pharmacy of the Erasmus MC, he aims to pursue his research in the field of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and clinical pharmacology.

Teacher to pharmacy assistants, nurses and medical and pharmacy students and medical technology students at the TU of Delft.
