About S.E. (Sanne) Hoeks, PhD
Introduction
Dr. Sanne Hoeks is Assistant professor Anesthesiology and clinical epidemiologist. She obtained her PhD 'Perioperative cardiac care: from guidelines to clinical practice’ at EMC within a collaboration of the Department of Cardiology and Anesthesiology.
Her research focuses on the perioperative and long-term optimization of high-risk patient undergoing non-cardiac surgery. This includes optimization of risk stratification, implementation of preventive healthcare and emphasis on outcome assessment.
