About L.L. (Luna) van der Gun, PhD Student
Introduction
I am a PhD Candidate working on child psychiatric epidemiological research within the Generation R Study. My research aims to understand mental health problems, comorbidity of mental disorders, risk and resilience from a life-course, biopsychosocial and trans-diagnostic perspective. By using tools and theory from complex systems science, I explore the reconceptualization of mental health problems as interacting parts of systems, rather than consequences of underlying disorders.
Education and career
I obtained my MSc Neuroscience & Cognition at Utrecht University in 2024, after which I started my PhD at the Erasmus MC.
