About G.R. (Gert) Dohle, MD
Introduction
I am head of the andrology research group of Erasmus MC. My current research activities are focusing on early testis development. Disturbances of testicular development during early pregnancy can result in testicular dysgenesis and urogenital abnormalities due to low fetal testosterone. Later in life this will result in male infertility, male hypogonadism and germ cell cancers in men.
As a clinician I am involved in urogenital reconstruction.
