About L.R. (Linda) Rossi PhD
Introduction
I am an Italian medical physicist currently working in the radiotherapy department at Erasmus MC. I completed my bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics at Bologna University, Italy, followed by medical physicist training in Milan and Verona, Italy. My training encompassed radiotherapy, radioprotection, nuclear medicine, and radiology.
During my PhD at Erasmus MC, I began developing research on AI-based automated treatment planning, which led to numerous international collaborations and projects.
In addition to my clinical duties, which include advanced CyberKnife and brachytherapy plan control and optimization, I am passionate about researching the use of AI to enhance patient and worker experiences in radiotherapy, as well as employing advanced imaging techniques to improve treatments.
